Most of the gas stations were closed that day so I was sweating it when we got up north to Massachusetts and Vermont trying to find an open gas station and food, I finally found a gas station and we filled up on gas and snacks. Don't like the color I chose. One time I turned on the 4WD and went mudding in the back part of my property, and I had a blast!
Replacement parts for this SUV are hard to find as Isuzu no longer makes cars and SUVs. There was a recall for a short time for rust on the frame. There is no center seatbelt in the rear seat and there is no 3rd row. Very little repair work has been needed.

This car got me through my high school graduation, moving to college, moving out of college, moving two apartments, all the way until my first child was born.

There is a rack on top so we can strap on our bikes or kayaks, and ample room in the back to load up whatever you need. If you spray a nest, which can crop up in a matter of days like a weed, the insects typically just move over a little way and start burrowing again. From the first time I saw the original Isuzu Rodeos many years ago, I have always liked the styling of the car. 2 Wheel drive only(this model) and sealed transmission, you can't just check your transmission fluid, you have to take it to someone for that, which is annoying, it's a rear wheel drive suv, so it's a little squirmy on snow if your not putting stuff in the back to weight the rear wheels down The exterior paint is Alpine White and I wish now that I had chosen a prettier color. Decent gas mileage. Interior storage space. It also gets 20 miles to the gallon which for this size SUV, I think it's really good, from a 210 horse power v6. 2. The Rodeo came with a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. There are three weaknesses that I have found in the Rodeo over the years. Our family has always owned General Motors cars (primarily Chevys), but the Isuzu somehow has the look and the feel of a quality General Motors car and not the feel of a Japanese import, even though it is from Japan. This vehicle fell into what I would consider a mid-price range. Visibility is good which makes me feel safer, especially when driving on the Interstate.

The ride is rough. Can get through anything. I especially like being able to fold down the rear seats for extra space if it is needed. I purchased this car last year from a friend who no longer wanted it and just wanted to get rid of it. The ride is "truck-like", but overall is comfortable. If there are any major pot holes then the car is very challenged to get through them. The trunk area is spacious. At the time, the sector's growth was described as an explosion and lots of manufacturers rushed to take advantage but in global terms, sales levels only really increased from a drip, drip, drip to a trickle. Constant upkeep required. One thing I don't like about the vehicle is that it requires a lot of maintenance. Four-wheel drive ensures that you won't be stuck anywhere.
Doors are too high from ground. Cheap and reliable. Unfortunately, as I am getting a little older now, I find that the vehicle sits high and it is becoming increasingly harder for me to climb in and out of it gracefully. Lots of room for storage and packing. We got it a few years ago, and have driven it all over the place. The car currently has over 220,000 miles on it without one bit of problems on it. Lots of room for storage and packing. Nice sound system. Good gas mileage. This car is really great.
