The Rectory of Llangattock is mentioned in Pope Nicholas’ Taxation compiled in 1288 with a living at that time valued at £16, although is it unlikely that the Old Rectory as we know it now served as part of this.
We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to all our family and friends.
The dinner menu was good and varied and we had an excellent mixed grill served in the conservatory. There was a wait of around 15 minutes for eggs and no bacon replenished or mushrooms.
Breakfast on Saturday was waitress service and on the Sunday a buffet but again the food was good with a wide choice.
The big jacuzzi bath was perfect and the bed comfortable. Well done and thank you for helping make a great weekend. We loved our stay in the deluxe double, room 22. Cameron looked after us extremely well and joined in our fun.
