The Macy's has the smallest section of dresses I've ever seen. I love the small and the customers are so courteous and the employees are so courteous the mall is well-kept and well-maintained they just have a few issues going on here that would need to be resolved before the mall would be popular again such as it needs better advertisement better things and amenities to do at this mall.
I was told by a security officer that no photo taking was allowed in the mall, yet there are a couple of photo booths that I saw, and I one visit was just before Easter, and there were people available to snap pictures of kids with the Easter bunny, so maybe you have to pay for it....odd.This mall has fallen so far from grace. Like everyone else, my biggest complaint is just the number of vacancies, but I will give them credit for creative approaches to filling those spaces. Sunday 6:00 am - 11:00 pm. Their handbag and shoe department is very minimal compared to Lakeside or MOL. There is NEVER I MEAN NEVER A PARKING ISSUE. I never thought I'd find a store that sold authentic Salvadoran things! The esplanade mall has been in decline since Hurricane Katrina and it's so hard to see the mall go under.

I stumbled upon this place by accident, and I am in shock. This mall would be amazing if it had stores that Metairie and New Orleans doesn't have already.It might be considered a dead mall for the locals but for me it's a gem! They always had awful management and customer service, i've never had an issue here. This place has really went down hill. Please enter Esplanade via the Mall’s main entrance along Raffles Ave, Mall entrance at the Courtyard along the waterfront, or Mezzanine drop-off point along Esplanade Drive. But most of all I'm glad they didn't change the name of the original esplanade. The Esplanade is a mall at the Thailand Cultural Center station of the MRT subway line. It has the best Target in the greater New Orleans area as well as the Dillard's outlet which is essentially a bargain hunter's dream!
