I've already reached out to the owners but they have yet to return my calls and email.I was invited to one of my closest friends weddings that she had at the Lodge. Our campsites were not designated group campsites,yet there was a family of over 20 people with 5 tents squeezed in one spot. Management said he let it slide it was not a concern to him. It is not for someone want a swimming pool, exercise facility or wonderful restaurants close by.
When I went to the front desk to ask the management to ask this group to settle down I was told that they had the right to have fun. This place was by far The Worst Experience in a hotel in my life!!!
There is a community kitchen and living room that can be used in the lodge with some appliances and dishes (not enough utensils or plates or bowls at all), but I don't know for a regular camper by them selves if they would be allowed access to use it. These horrid people,with barbecue ribs permanently lodged in their mouths,alienated all guests. The Hot Tub was nice & clean and overlooking the river, but it was cleaned so late in the day the tub was only at 94 degrees when we used it (cold December night) and it wasn't filled high enough. This all could of been prevented if staff would of stepped in. I've read 30 reviews and I see truth in all of them, good and bad.

Hope to make it back again sometime soon! There is a pool table, tether ball, and a see saw. There is parking in front of the lodge for about 15-20 cars but people can park in the camp grounds too.This place is great. The Lodge misses the "personal comfort touches."

To begin with when we got there we were told no animals and guests had dogs running around off leashes. This would be fine as it is very tranquil overlooking the Russian River, but it is OVERPRICED. Unfortunately, some people have to have rules & signage and that way everyone could of got along. The standards and decorum of camping etiquette have been thown to the wayside. Even if you tried to sit on the deck,an unsupervised child would be running all over you...as you listened to this horrid music. IF the GUERNEVILLE LODGE charged us a reasonable WINTER rate such as $149 a night, we would be back in a heartbeat, many, many times the Lodge is clean, beautiful setting and summertime I could understand higher rates, but again with zero in room amenities, not $239.00. I am sure vollyball can be set up and there might even be a ping pong table. Carlos and Dorothy were both incredibly hospitable and the property was beautiful. The property is large and has a lot of grass area. The rooms are reasonable and there is a large common seating area with books.
