I said a prayer last night and basically asked for Him to comfort me and sort of show me everything is gonna be alright despite what grades I get. His example and the discussions we’d have about the church is what encouraged me to ask to attend some sacrament meetings and eventually join.I started my meetings with the missionaries at the beginning of February after having a very tearful conversation with the Bishop about where I was coming from and how much I wanted to change and have the happiness that the members all seem to have. Did the church leadership make a similar statement when Initiatories changed?I just don’t understand how it would violate the “sacred” part of the endowment by simply saying something like “there will no longer be physical touching during the endowment” or “everyone will now wear gloves.”If anything I feel like this just contributes to the view of the temple being “secret,” and not “sacred.”Not just that, this isn't a letter to the members.
