Assembling is very simple, but the first time I was  assembling it, it was obviously dark and I was pretty clumsy attaching it. If the indicator light is green, it means 100%, red / green is 50% and red means another 30% battery.

This is the best bike accessory I've ever bought- It provides a bright strobe for cars to see, but more importantly, it shines a laser beam down the road as you drive- Cars typically move into the other lane as they drive by you- Great product- Battery life is about 4 hours.
