To be clear, I totally disagree with that assessment, but it is worth pointing out that such advice is unhelpful when R1s will not interview you.I could go on, but who wants to hear my litany of complaints?

Our classes are all on Saturday because almost all of our students are working full-time in government and the nonprofit sector.
