NOTE: For your convenience and relaxation, Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek is a non-tipping resort. Meals were delivered to guests in plastic clam shells, not in the elegant style shown in the photos which were taken years ago when the lodge was known as Garland's. Truly an Arizona gem. We loved exploring the garden, the orchard, and saying hi to the chickens. Chef Cheryl made amazing food for all of us. Also private entrance to the most beautiful crystal clear creek. The only thing disappointing -- and the inn is not responsible -- was screaming kids playing down in the creek. Sedona was 98 degrees and we come back to our lovely shaded property and nice and cool.
Your stay includes breakfast and dinner and it is extremely high quality food. The majority of the staff had been furloughed and those remaining were unhappy. Shocked they charged the gratuity for zero services provided. This cabin features one king-sized bed and a full-sized pull out sofa, a wood burning fireplace, air conditioning, mini-fridge, and coffeemaker. We loved the porch and all the grassy areas for the kids to play around while we lounged and relaxed with the sounds of the nearby creek.
