Removable Glue Dots are a removable adhesive that sticks around as long as you need but removes easily without damaging surfaces. I ended up going to the nearest supply shop and using duct tape to stick all of the balloons together.

These Dots are acid and lignin free, non-toxic, and photo safe. It is a little tricky to actually remove them though, they do tend to peel the paint back a bit.
