It was not good at all.
Check out The Fragile Army by The Polyphonic Spree on Amazon Music. The music is beautiful.
I wish i could put this in the hands of everyone i know.
But the Spree's 2002 debut coincided with a period of new respect for over-sized lineups, from Broken Social Scene and the Arcade Fire to Architecture in Helsinki and I'm From Barcelona, with even Belle & Sebastian going In the battle of "size of the boat" vs. "motion of the ocean," new Spree album Relatively speaking, the Spree have downsized. Recommended. their songs (as are most of their songs) are very upbeat and yet simultaneously deep and just primarily feel-good shtuff.. my fave songs on this album are Running Away, the Fragile Army and Light to Follow.
Quantity. Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. There are some WELL crafted songs in all three of their smartly writen albums....ture they are not for everyone...but... Why do some reviews call them freaks or weridos just because they don't conform?....I Find that to be the best part of them. That said they still make room for all the other instruments and voices which compliment brilliantly.

To all you darn haters again...don't judge them for doing their own thing, that is LAME. As for the Spree, it's hard to believe any utopia would sound like symphonic-veneered rock music-- a style some classic-rock mainstays adopted back when their forward-looking peers were developing new genres. If you like early 1970s prog-rock, you may be surprised that a young group is still doing that kind of music.
I would like to see a live disk from this band and I love their cover of Nirvana's Lithium, which ain't on the disk.

05. Rock.
There are a couple of tracks that are weaker and let the album down slightly in my opinion but overall its a success and very emotive. Show more like these. If you like early 1970s prog-rock, you may be surprised that a young group is still doing that kind of music.
Seemed like a nice concept. Fragile Army is one of those albums. Watching the video of the process of making the record was fascinating and showed the cracks in the fragile armour. It was written by Tim DeLaughter and the Polyphonic Spree.

Fine, but one For Plato, a "just society" doesn't even have music. The Fragile Army is so enormous and lavish, with its 24 players, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink production and sugary multi-tracked harmonies, that trying to consume it in one sitting is like trying to force down an entire wedding cake in one go.
