It was erected on the site of the Ape House, and two other Reptile Houses had existed previously, the first erected in 1849 (before ZSL London Zoo had even opened to the public) and the second in 1882. I have a serious question tho, why didn't you bring the tarantula into the shop and show us what had happened. We now have an additional tortoise & bearded dragon. None of the animals had food or water either.

There is a huge difference between feeder rodents and pet rodents you find in pet stores. There were dead rats and mice all over the floor too. Totally disinterested was my take.Snakes and snails and puppy dogs tails. I didn't buy my reptile here but I do by feeders and they have a nice little selection of supplies.Purchased a c. Versicolor that I found dead with what looked to be parasites leaving the body as it decomposed. Ryan even said that it molted in your care with no issues. !Overall , I was given good service, and the young man who helped me was polite and helpful. The zoo is mainly specialized in reptiles.
