Canoed from Scout Camp (about 5hrs). There were so many pros about hiking this time of year, however, we could have used cramp ons as there was tons of snow still at the top.

Bear cash is nice and I think this was the only camp spot with a ‘table’ and hammock (net) which was wonderful. Della Falls est un sentier allez-retour de 29.5 kilomètres peu fréquenté situé près de Alberni-Clayoquot C, Colombie-Britannique en Canada. The whole hike there and back, up to the falls, love lake which had snow, and exploring can add up to 50-60km of hiking total, which will make you into a zombie after only three days.
The falls and love lake are totaly worth it, just watch out for twisting your ankles.Took the water taxi to the trailhead and highly recommended those guys but bathrooms were CLOSED so had to wait to get to the far side.
great hike. And don't forget to just find a ledge, eat a snack, and just stare out over Nanoose Bay.
Stayed a second night at Della Camp (Sunday night the camp was almost empty), up early on Monday, and on the trail by 0700, back to the dock for water taxi pickup at 1230ish. The first 4 km are super buggy so bring spray and mosquito netting. No I’m markers or maps once you are past the trailhead. We conquered about a 1/3 of the way and decided to dock on a private beach and enjoy our last night under the stars. Due to the time of year we chose to do this hike, the trail was slightly unmaintained, with plenty of animal prints and droppings to keep the heart racing. Unreal adventure, and the most physical exertion we have put our bodies through in awhile. It took us approximately 7.5 hours to canoe Great Central Lake to the trailhead with rest stops of course. Della Falls is a 18.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Alberni-Clayoquot C, British Columbia, Canada that features a lake and is rated as difficult. 4.5 hours back down the next day. Trailhead on Powder Point Road in Nanoose. But why run by all the awesomeness, from the vistas to the gnarly arbutus and Garry Oaks. The falls were great at this time of year and there was reports that Love lake was still frozen, when we got there love lake was completely unthawed. Recommend this one as a 4-day trip minimum if you paddle.Did this hike on Jul 25. If a person wants to a circuit can be done in 35 to 45 minutes, depending on the route. It was fun, could take 3 days perhaps to slow it down a bit next time. And this time.....'s one of my favourite little hikes. After taking in the base of the falls, we stored our bags at a food cache located in one of the base camps and made our way up to Love Lake.
Landmark & Historical Place. !Je suis à la recherche d'un ou une compagnon de marche pour ce sentier (du 23 au 25 juin) !A group of us + 3 dogs just completed (June 14th-16th, 2019) Great central trailhead to Della falls base (15.2kms one way), and love lake look out (3kms one way). we chose to hike to the second campsite (about 12kms) in, directly below the cable car that takes you across the river ahead. There are no kilometre markers, and frequently the trail kind of disappears but is mostly marked by some tape. Journalist. Gorgeous, spectacular, unreal, do it! Bring your own TP.
