While it would’ve made more sense for the epilog to have accompanied Allegiant—because, in retrospect, the book was pretty incomplete without it—it was pretty important seeing as it reveals Four’s life two years after Tris’s passing. She earned a more powerful ending to her story than that. Personally, I grew a bit tired of the predictability of the main character’s safeness because most authors aren’t always as willing to put their lead characters on the line for the sake of the story. hi guys so i just finished reading alleigent and im not able to goe over tris's death so i wrote a fanfiction of sorts.here goes:two years after tris dies, tobias and christina were taking a walk in the park{not as a couple though}a strange man with a cloah=k walking towards them bumps into christina, handing her a box as they turn back, the man is nowhere to be seen. She goes to her execution in this act of bravado and self-sacrifice, and it's not quite right, so she survives. They all ride the zip line one last time, even Four, despite his fear of heights. I live in Canada and yes, it's as cold as they say it is. After Tobias finds out about Tris’s death, the mood of the story returns to its originally bleak and daunting state. Thanks!Oh.
